Between 2012 and 2014 I ran the Queensland branch of Left-Right Think-Tank. LRTT is Australia’s first youth-led think-tank, with a focus on gathering youth opinion on traditionally non-youth issues.
During my time as State Director we undertook extensive research, and then wrote and advocated policy papers on e-governance, and disaster infrastructure.
This process had us liasing with top academics, public servants and federal members of parliament. I coordinated a staff of 20 volunteers, and built key connections with other policy organisations, and the Australian government.
